Dr. Koka grew up close to our country’s Capital in Fairfax, Virginia. After completing her medical schooling in Virginia, she came to California to attend the interview at University of California, Irvine Medical Center for her residency program. She fell in love with California & told her parents she will move to California even before she was accepted at UCI Medical Center in 1994.

While the Valley has several “Urgent Care” facilities, only one is truly equipped and staffed to accommodate urgent care emergency needs. SJ Urgent Care under the direction of Dr. Vidhya Koka and physician assistant, Lt. Col. David Emery, is fully equipped with automatic external defibrillator, electrocardiograph, pulse Oxymeter, Nebulizer, Spirometer and the latest medical technology.
